Why EagleHawk?
Just think of the jump you can get on the competition by attending a world class academy or a best in class summer camp? Imagine how the competitive gap will widen as steel sharpens steel and you get to not only interact, but drill week after week with other wrestlers who have similar skills and goals. All this in addition to what your high school or club coach is sharing with you; and of course, what the competition isn't doing. Wrestlers need to take advantage of every opportunity they can; for you never know which coach, work-out partner, lost takedown or words of praise will become the “turning point” in your career.
What we're not is a club where we wrestle live a majority of the time. It's not a high school program where you compete as a member of a team. Instead it's a place where we teach you the two most important aspects of the sport; how to wrestle and how to drill. The result is our programs compliment, they don't replace what you're already receiving at your high school or through your club program.
As a regular bonus, we provide video critique assistance. Just give us a DVD of some recent matches and when we see you next we'll help you improve on those things you are doing well as well as those that need work.
Every one of our academy practices is run by our director, Wade Schalles; 16-time National Champion, World Champion and Guinness Book of World Records holder for most wins and most pins. You won’t find anyone that is more in tune with wrestlers’ needs than Coach Schalles. A quick visit to the site’s testimonials click here will help you understand why he’s known as one of the most innovative wrestling personalities, exceptional educators and successful coaches in the sport's history.

This past season 3 of Coach Schalles' wrestlers won the high school national championships, 4 of them took home the Gold at the state high school championships while 2 others finished second and 32 more earned all-state honors.
EagleHawk Successes
In our very first season we had 249 student-athletes become part of our Academy. Many of those went on to become Junior League, CAWL, and State High School Champions. Considerably more positioned themselves to achieve those honors in the coming years, and as a group our student-athletes pinned over 1,500 wrestlers! That's an incredible statistic when you understand that almost 100 of those EagleHawkers had less than a year’s experience.
This past year our academy grew to 304 student-athletes and had even greater accomplishments. There's no doubt we're the place to be if you're serious about making a jump in your development.
Why EagleHawk is Important to You
Because we’re much more than an ordinary wrestling school; we're a one-of-a-kind educational experience that provides: technique that is far superior to anything the competition is receiving; availability to instructors who stress the importance of sportsmanship and discipline; access to partners that have the same dreams, drive and competency as you. But don’t take our word for it, click here to read what our athletes have said, as well as their parents and coaches.
